f you read my post, “how to be a balanced student”, now’s the right time to put that to action.
The Unilever Africa Idea Trophy is a competition for all students across the African continent. It is a development initiative that aims to create a learning experience that focuses on personal and entrepreneurial competences among students.

It is a very creative experience where you learn how business works in real life by creating your own ideas. This also helps you develop your own skills and competences.

Here’s how the student competition works

  • ·         The Unilever Idea Trophy, a multi-level competition, call on students to come deal with real business issues related to Unilever.

  • · The individual just has to submit his details along with his idea.
  • ·         If a team, a team representative submits his/her details and uses this excel sheet to submit the details of the team members along with their idea.

Requirements for the student contest

1.       The Unilever Africa Idea Trophy is a student competition for African University students.
2.       All teams must have their representative submit their details using this  excel sheet along with their idea.

How to be a balanced Student.

S
ome students say, " I just want to get good grades and then graduate with very high points ". My answer, a simple and emphatic No!. Why, that's not how balanced students think. Balanced students are very good in class and also engage in extra-curricular activities. They join student competitions, sports, etc. They gain scholarships. Did I just say that? yes, I did.
First of all, information about scholarships are virtually everywhere. You find them on the internet, on school notice boards, hear friends talk about them.

How Do I avoid Job Scams?

How To Avoid Job Scams

Recently I recieved a mail that read: Disney Cruise Line Job offer 2016.

Disney Cruise Line is the trading name of Magical Cruise Company limited which is a subsidiary of the Walt Disney company.
Some job alerts are scam!
Some Job alerts are scam!

The mail entitled "Disney Cruise Line Job Offer" informed me that Disney Cruise Line was hiring with a Job ID-EU/DCL/00867-15.It also said there was a minimum job requirement of 18 years, the company needed 350 applicants and stated some job positions.

Experts comment that emails have nothing to do with Disney Land.
This is a typical Job scam. They make wonderful job offers and ask job seekers to make contact via-disneycruiseemployment@india.com.

Those who fall for this are asked to fill up bogus forms that require sensitive and financial information.

They will later be contacted by the fraudsters and informed that they were successful but that they need to pay some certain amount of money upfront for say, their visa,Insurance, etc.

How do you avoid this?

  1. Never give out sensitive information or financial information to anyone online.
  2. Never give out your card pins to anyone.
  3. Search for jobs on genuine sites.
  4. When you get a scam job mail from a fraudster, simply delete them!
What are the ways you deal with scam mails and messages? We'll love to know.Got any questions, we'll love to help out with our answers.
